Just before Thanksgiving 2025, on November 26, members of the San Diego Chapter of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA-SD) gathered at St. Dunstan’s Church to support a volunteer initiative with Helping Empower Community Refugees (HECR). The timing made the experience especially meaningful as students contributed to the spirit of gratitude and service.

San Diego, CA – September 13, 2025 — The San Diego Chapter of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA-SD) members came together at one member’s house to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival by making Taiwanese steamed mooncakes and traditional egg yolk pastries from scratch.

The San Diego Chapter of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA-SD) proudly volunteered at the annual Taiwan Festival, hosted by the Taiwanese American Professionals – San Diego (TAP-SD). From June 23 to 25, 2025, the San Diego Chapter of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA-SD) successfully completed its annual three-day Cultural Ambassador Training, hosted by the Wisdom Culture and Education Organization (WCEO). A formal closing ceremony, held on June 25, celebrated the 43 student ambassadors who completed the program—consisting of 25 returning members and 18 new participants.

On May 18, 2025, the San Diego Chapter of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA-SD) delivered a dynamic diabolo performance at the San Diego Chinese Academy Graduation Ceremony. This presentation was not only a spirited celebration of Taiwanese culture but also an opportunity for members to cultivate leadership and teamwork through a traditional art form.

San Diego, CA – On May 16, 2025, the San Diego Chapter of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA-SD) returned to Doyle Elementary School’s International Festival to support an engaging Taiwanese cultural booth organized by Doyle’s Taiwanese parent community. This ongoing collaboration offered festival-goers an interactive and meaningful way to explore Taiwanese heritage through games, cultural displays, and community engagement.

On May 10, 2025, the San Diego Chapter of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA-SD) proudly participated in the Taiwan Heritage Week Festival at the Taiwanese American Community Center by hosting a vibrant vendor booth. The event served as both a fundraiser and a cultural outreach opportunity, allowing members to share the flavors and traditions of Taiwan with the local community.

海外青年文化大使協會聖地牙哥分會(FASCA-SD)5月3日舉辦端午節文化體驗活動，讓青年文化大使深入認識傳統節慶。活動由課程企劃小隊帶領，探索端午節歷史由來、節日重要性及多樣傳統習俗，透過親手包製臺灣南部粽，體驗節慶飲食的魅力。

On April 26, 2025, members of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors San Diego Chapter (FASCA-SD) proudly participated in the Linda Vista Multicultural Fair & Parade, joining dozens of community groups in a vibrant celebration of culture, diversity, and unity.

The San Diego Chapter of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA-SD) actively promoted Taiwanese culture this spring by participating in two important school events: Pacific Trails Middle School’s Culture Night and the Lewis Middle School Carnival. Over the course of April 24 and April 25, FASCA-SD members proudly introduced Taiwan’s rich traditions, food, and spirit to the greater San Diego community.

FASCA SD visited UCSD for a campus tour and a meaningful engagement with faculty from the UCSD Center for Taiwan Studies (CTS).

To commemorate Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb Sweeping Day, FASCA-SD hosted a meaningful cultural gathering at their member's home.

FASCA chapters in Washington D.C., Boston, and San Diego successfully hosted an online cultural exchange with highschoolers from Taiwan.

Under the warm March sun, members FASCA-SD gathered for a monthly meeting filled with cultural enrichment and practical knowledge.

橙縣華僑文教服務中心23日在聖地牙哥中華學苑舉行第二場「海外青年英語服務營」說明會，吸引眾多有興趣的學生與家長到場參與，期望透過過往學員與家長的親身經驗分享，讓大家更深入了解英語服務營的內容與收穫。去年參加營隊的四位學員與三位家長，分享他們在台灣的教學體驗、文化適應以及個人成長。
