San Diego, CA – Oct 11, 2025 — The San Diego Chapter of the Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors (FASCA-SD) gathered for their monthly meeting at the Harvest Evangelical Church of San Diego.

The day began with lively team-bonding games led by project leaders Stella Lin, Ethan Chian, and Eileen Wu, giving members a chance to connect with one another in a fun and relaxed way. Following the activities, presidents Ashley Han and Chloe Chiu led a reflection session on recent events, including the FASCA Annual Family BBQ and the Mooncake Making event. Members discussed successes, identified areas for improvement, and brainstormed new ideas for upcoming projects, all with the goal of fostering continuous growth and strengthening FASCA’s relationship with the local community.

The highlight of the meeting was a parent workshop, where three parents generously volunteered their time to share about their careers and their journeys as immigrants. This session offered members valuable insight into various professional fields and provided meaningful perspectives on navigating life and work as immigrants in a new country. Hearing the parents’ stories of perseverance and success inspired members to reflect on their own goals and futures.

Overall, the October meeting was a productive and inspiring event that encouraged both organizational improvement and personal growth. Through meaningful reflection, collaboration, and shared stories, FASCA-SD members took another step toward developing their leadership, cultural understanding, and commitment to service.
